Affirmations & How Do They Work đź’«

Affirmations are great for recalibrating our subconscious. They are simple positive sentences that help affirm what we want to believe. Telling yourself you’re beautiful every day won’t magically make you beautiful overnight, but you might start taking care of yourself better after saying and that could be the first step.

I believe that affirmations work best to reprogram what we’ve learned through our life experiences and the people around us. If we want to experience something new, something has to change—I use affirmations to kickstart that mindset change.

How does it work?
When you say, write, or think of positive statements, you increase your belief in the statement subconsciously or consciously. You put it out there to the world or the universe and that helps manifest into your reality.

And depending on how you react to the statements, it can help us understand the relationship you have with the topic.

How to use affirmations:
#01 Saying Aloud
As you speak into the world, these words affirm out loud what you want. This is especially good for wealth affirmations!

Be careful what you say, if you are someone who constantly complains or speaks negatively, then you are also affirming that in your reality.

#02 Writing in your Journal or Post-it Notes Writing is very neutral, there aren’t as many tones as in speaking. Trains your brain muscles subconsciously by writing affirmations over and over again!

#03 Writing on Objects
Sounds funny but it’s really useful to set intentions using affirmations on your objects. For example, writing “I LOOK BEAUTIFUL” on your mirror, reminds you that you are beautiful every single time you look into the mirror.

#04 Listening to Affirmations
There are tons of audio affirmations online with tons of different themes. These are great to start your day with or just play while you’re doing other things. This can hit your subconscious and you can do this so easily.

#05 Segment Intending
Affirm different segments of the day with a very specific affirmation. For example, if you are going for an interview before you head in, use an affirmation like “I am enough, I am confident, what it means for me will simply be ready for me”. This helps set your intention for the upcoming segment and puts you in a positive mindset.

Exercise Time:
Try saying “I am Enough” aloud. How did you feel saying it? Were you confident? Were you shy? Did you mumble? This helps us know where you are at with your worthiness and self-confidence. If you can scream “I am Enough” out loud in front of many people, yes, you are so confident and you do believe in yourself.

But even for myself, I find myself hesitating when it comes to the word “Enough”. Through a short and simple sentence, I could detect my lack of confidence.

If you are interested, here are some of my favourite affirmations. Some are for wealth, some are for general day-to-day, some are for beauty.

đź’ź I approve of myself for who I am
đź’ź I am enough just as I am
đź’ź I am worthy of my desires
đź’ź I am open and ready to receive the abundance the universe has to offer
đź’ź My energy glows and lights up every room I walk into
đź’ź I prosper everywhere I turn
đź’ź My energy is alluring and beautiful
đź’ź I have so much love for all
đź’ź  It’s a good day
đź’ź Magic and miracles are attracted to me
đź’ź I allow the universe to work for me. I am ready to receive
đź’ź All is well for me

The more confident you sound, the more it’ll manifest in your reality, I can’t wait for your life to blossom in ways you could never expect. I’m excited for you.

With love,
Chara
